Arrive at the airport in Almaty and our driver will pick you and take you to hotel in city center. In afternoon a guide will take you visit the bustling Green Bazaar, which is a historic market selling fresh produce, crafts and souvenirs.
Go to Rakhat Chocolate Shop popular for Kazakh sweets and long-standing traditions and later go to Panfilow Park and see the stunning Ascension Cathedral. Enjoy the surroundings of the Soviet-era history and then go for leisure walk through the park to admire the historic monuments. Go back to hotel for overnight stay in Almaty.
Take breakfast at the hotel and drive to Medeo Gorge with the highest skating rink in the world at 1,690 meters. Enjoy a 20 minutes scenic cable car ride above the pine forest and valleys and alight at Shymbulak Mountain Resort which is 2,260 meters high. Take in the fresh mountain air, stunning views and explore activities in resort.
Adventure lovers may try out activities like skiing, snowboarding, paragliding, ice skating among others but at additional costs. There are also opportunities for horse riding, quad biking and cargo taxi riding to Chimba. You may also visit the Rope Park, called Shymba while there. In the evening go back to hotel in Almaty and enjoy night stay.
Enjoy delicious breakfast and then head out to Alma-Arasan Gorge. The scenic mountain valley is surrounded by towering peaks and lush forest. Climb up to the natural hot sulfur springs at 1,827 meters above sea level and enjoy the therapeutic and relaxing ambience. Connect with nature with the alpines surrounding.
In afternoon go to Kok-Tobe Park and take in panoramic views of Almaty. Walk along the scenic paths, take in fresh air and try out the leisure activities like the Ferris wheel, visit attraction like the zoo, exotarium and try out hilltop restaurants.
Capture striking photos at the park with the city against the background of mountains. In evening return to hotel in Almaty for overnight stay.
Enjoy the last day breakfast at the hotel and relax there as you soak in last day moments of your tour. Check out from hotel and be transferred to the Almaty International Airport for departure. Take with you memories of the mountains, city attractions and experiences with rich Kazakh culture.
