The tour begins immediately you arrive at the Airport in Istanbul. Our team will receive you and will transfer you to the hotel. Once you are at the hotel you will be issued with the keys to your room where you can relax and spend the rest of the afternoon exploring Istanbul.
The tour begins by a tasty breakfast and then our chauffer will pick you up at 8:30 am for a tour inro the old Istanbul city. The adventure begins by a visit at the ST. Sophia which is an old basilica that was constructed by Constantine the great in the 4th Century and later rebuilt by Justinian in the 6th Century. The basilica stands as one of the architectural marvels in Istanbul. Also, you will get to explore the TOPKAPI Place which is the Great Palace that the Ottoman Sultans lived from the 15th to 19th Century. It features some historic things such as the robes that the Sultans and families wore, well crafted collection crystal, silver, jewels of the Imperial Treasury among others. It also features the holy mantle that represents the relics of Prophet Mohammed.
Just across the St Sophia Basilica is Sultan Ahmet Imperial Mosque that was constructed in the 16th Century by Mehmet as the architect. The mosque is famously referred to as the Blue Mosque due to its majestic interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles. You will also be able to tour and experience the Hippodrome which is a beautiful park that is popularly referred as Byzantine chariot race track. There are three beautiful monuments in Hippodrome.
Thereafter you will enjoy a short lunch break at 13:00PM and then proceed with the tour to the Grand Covered Bazaar. In this network of streets and passages there are over 4000 shops with each trade line having its own area. There are different areas where you find trade such as goldsmiths street, the carpet sellers, Turkish art and crafts like the hand painted ceramic plates, hard-honed copperware and meerschaum pipes. After the adventure the activities of the day will come to the end and you will be transferred back to your hotel for a leisure evening.
The day begins by a delicious breakfast and then you depart for a n exciting Bosphorus Cruise tour. In the bour you will enjoy you will enjoy a calm ride in a Bosphorus boat and spice market tour. As you cruise in the boat you will enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding and the beautiful blend of modern and ancient building along the sores. Once you are done with lunch break you will proceed to Istanbul Ataturk airport to catch a domestic flight to Cappadocia. This day begins by taking breakfast ready for the day’s activities. You will get to know Cappadocia regions which is known as a volcanic area where geological formation began about 10 million years ago. This is how some of the formations such as Phallic pillars came to be. The majestic horse country katpatuka is a majestic strip of land, enchanting and mysterious. The region of Cappadocia is famous for other things such as art which includes carpets and ceramics. Our team will pick you at the hotel at around 9:00 am ready for the exciting day ahead.
The day starts by a visit at the highest point in Cappadocia which is the Uchisar castle. You will the head to Goreme open air museum, the heart of Cappadocia. It is known for the frescoes that dates back to 10th century describing the life of Jesus Christ and monks. After this adventure you will procced to Cavusin which is an abandoned village with old cave Greek houses. Thereafter, you will break for lunch at a local restaurant in Avanos.
You will then tour the pottery work shop to witness how the potteries are made. Then you will witness the Cappadocian handwoven carpet and kilims at another workshop. You will then proceed to Devrent valley also known as the valley of imagination where you will see the natural rock formation that resemble animals. After this majestic adventure you will then proceed to Urgup’s wineshop where you will indulge in wine tasting. The day will come to a close by visiting the three stunning fairy chimneys with their hats which is the symbol of Cappadocia. The tour comes to an end at round 18:00 pm and you will be transferred back to your hotel for a relaxing evening. You will spend the night at the hotel In Cappadocia.
