When you arrive at the Yerevan International Airport in Istanbul, our guide will be waiting to welcome you and then they will transfer you to your hotel. We will help you check in to the hotel and relax until evening at around 6:00 pm when your guide will pick you up and take you to the Bosphorus Strait. This strait is where Europe meets Asia and it is a great escape from the bustling city as it offers serenity. As the cruise passes under the suspension bridges, and take in views of Ottoman Summer Palaces, waterside mansions and modern villas that are built along the Asian and European coasts. The evening cruise include dinner and gives you a chance to see how Istanbul is beautiful at night. You will enjoy dinner with entertainment from a Live DJ Music, folkoric show or even belly dancers. After the end of the tour at midnight, our guide will transfer you back to your hotel.
Once you have had a hearty breakfast at the hotel, our guide will take you to Sultanahmet district, which is the oldest part of the city with most historical sites. We will first take you to the Hagia Sophia, which was once a church, then a mosque and nowit is a museum. Our guide will explain to you about the importance of this structure to the history and you will also admire its beautiful architecture.
After there, we will take you to the Grand Bazaar, which is a huge vibrant complex where you can shop for clothing, decorative furnishings, eat food and also see the entertainment joints. Our guide will also take you to historical monuments like the Tomb of Sultan Ahmet 1, the Firuz Aga Mosque and you will pass by the outside of the the Tomb of Mehmed II.
Take a lunch break and enjoy some Turkish cuisine from the local joints and in the afternoon, we will visit the Topkapi Palace. We got the tickets for you in advance so you just get inside the museum and peruse through the history with the rare books, manuscripts, ottoman robes, weapons and the Holy Relics of the Prophet Muhammad among others. Later on, your guide will take you back to your hotel in Istanbul for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and board a flight to Cappadocia and start on you tour of Nort Cappadocia. Our first stop will be at the Dervent Valley, where you will feel the mystic of the Pasabag Fairy Chimneys. We will also take you to Avanos which is known for its terracotta ceramics that is dated back to the 3000 BC and has been passed down through generations. Enter the ceramic and tire center and watch how ceramics are made by hand and then break for lunch.
In the afternoon we will take you to the popular Goreme Open Air Museum, where you will see churches with stunning firescoes carved from rock and also elaborately carved monasteries and chapels. We will also take you to the carpet weaving co-operation and see carpets being made by hand. Stand by the Uchisar Rock Castle and enjoy beautiful views of Goreme Valley. Check in to your hotel and enjoy a restful night awaiting the next day’s adventure.
njoy your breakfast and then head for an adventure to South Cappadocia. Our first stop is at the Red Valley where you will stroll through it to admire rock cut churches along the valley. Enjoy a 5-kilometer hike through the valley of Gulludere and afterwards visit the Cavusin village, where you will also enjoy a traditional Turkish delicacy in one of the eateries there.
In the afternoon we will drive you to Pigeon Valley, which offers you surreal views of the unique rock formations. There are well marked trails in the valley so remember to carry hiking gears for a more fulfilling experience. You will also tour the Underground City which was used in the ancient times by Christians as their hideout and refuge from the oppressors. You will see the stables, kitchen, living rooms and bedrooms which have been preserved since the old times.
After enjoying your farewell breakfast enjoy some leisure time in Cappadocia and then our guide will take you back to the airport for your flight back to Dubai.
