Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Istanbul Arrival Day

Once you land at the airport in Istanbul, our representative will be already there to greet and welcome you to Turkey. They will then transfer you to your hotel where you will relax and explore the nearby areas. Enjoy a restful night at the hotel awaiting the next day’s adventure.

Day 2
Full Day Istanbul City Tour

After you have breakfast, a driver will be at your hotel at 8:30 am to pick you up for your day tour pf Istanbul city. We will first go to the Old Istanbul city where you will visit the Topkapi Palace, which is a was home to the ottoman sultans from the 15th to 19th centuries. At the palace you will see collections of crystal, silver and Chinese porcelain and also famous jewels of the Imperial Treasury among many other things.

After we will take you to Sultanahmet Imperial Mosque which is just across St. Sophia, which is also known as the blue mosque because of the beautiful interior decorations of blue iznik tiles. The mosque was built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet. Next to the Blue Mosque you will see the Sultanahmet Square, which is also called the Hippodrome of Constantinople. You can just stroll through the square or relax by the benches and admire the monuments in the square which are the Serpent Column, Walled Obelisk and Obelisk of Theodosius.

Enjoy your lunch at 1/.00 pm and then in the afternoon we will take you to the Grand Bazaar, which is the world’s largest covered market. You will be wowed with what the market offers, from over 4,000 retail shops spread out in over 60 streets, to eateries serving Turkish local delicacies. You will see different retailers such as carpet sellers, dealers of goldsmiths, sellers of Turkish arts and crafts like hand painted ceramic plates, hand-honed copperware, brassware and trays, dealers in water ewers, onyx ware and meerschaum pipes.

Note: The St. Sophia Museum remains closed on Mondays and Topkapi Palace on Tuesdays. The Grand Bazaar is usually closed on Sundays.

Day 3
Full Day Tour of Princes’ Island

Enjoy a heart breakfast and then we will take you to board a cruise in the Marmara Sea to take you to Istanbul’s famous Princes’ Island. While on the cruise you will be able to spot Topkapi Palace, Leander’s Tower and Uskudar. The cruise will stop at Buyukada, which is the largest island in the Princes’ Islands. It is a popular summer resort known for its sandy beaches and the pinewood sceneries. You can engage in water activities at the island and then later get on a horse drawn carriage to explore the island. The island offers a magical atmosphere so your tour will be relaxing and peaceful. Go at a fish restaurant in the island and enjoy a delicious lunch and then continue with the adventures of the island in the afternoon. In the evening, we will take you back to your hotel in Istanbul where you will enjoy a comfortable night.

Day 4
Bosphorus Cruise and Cappadocia

Have your breakfast and by 8:30 the driver will be there to pick you up and take you to the Grand Bazaar. Take in the mystical aromas of different spices and see shops selling vegetables, fruits, fish and flowers among other items. After that we will take you for the Bosphorus cruise, through the Bosphorus strait which separates Europe and Asia. While on the cruise you will spot marble palaces, ancient wooden villas made of Ottoman architecture and also modern and luxurious residentials and apartments.

The cruise is very scenic so remember to carry a camera to take pictures for memories. Although you are not allowed entry, you will spot the exterior of the Rumeli Fortress, a historical armament that was built through the orders of Sultan Mehmed II to control and protect the Bosphorus people in the ancient times. It is a unique example of military architecture and the guide will explain to you the importance of the fortress.

Later on a driver will take you to Istanbul airport, you will board a domestic flight to Kayseri and after you land in Kayseri another of our representative will receive you and transfer you to a hotel in Cappadocia. Enjoy your dinner and a good night rest.

Bosphorus Cruise and Cappadocia
Day 5
Cappadocia Tour

You will be picked at around 9:30 am from your hotel and the driver will take you to Ozkonak Underground City. A thing you should know is that this city is one of the best preserved and also among the deepest underground cities in Cappadocia. After touring the Undercity, we will then take you to Uchisar Castle, which is the top most point in Cappadocia. The guide will then take you to the center of Cappadocia in the Goreme Open Air Museum. The museum is known for frescoes dating back to 10th century and describes the life or Jesus Christ and the monks.

After the museum our guide will take you to Cavusin, an abandoned village with old cave Greek houses break for lunch and go enjoy an authentic Turkish meal at a restaurant in Avanos. When you are done with lunch visit a pottery workshop and witness how potteries are made. Head to Pasabagi and see the three headed chimneys and then go to another workshop in Cappadocia to see the making of handwoven carpets and kilims.

We will then go to Devrent Valley which many local people call the Imagination Valley because of the natural rock formations that look like real animals. Wine lovers are not left behind as we also include a wine tasting tour in a wine shop in Urgup. We will end the tour at the three beautiful fairytale chimneys with their hats, which make for the symbol of Cappadocia. At around 6:00 we will take you back to your hotel where dinner will be served to you.

Day 6
Cappadocia to Istanbul and Departure

After a heart breakfast check out from your hotel in Cappadocia and then a driver will drop you at Kayseri Airport for a domestic flight back to Istanbul. Board your flight back home and carry with you the beautiful memories of Turkey.
