6 Days Escape into the Magic of Turkey

Wake up early and enjoy a hearty breakfast and get ready for pick up from 8:00 am to 9:30 am. Your tour consultant will tell you the exact pickup timing so that you can be ready when the driver arrives. The first place we will go is Topkapi Palace, which was built in the early 15th century for the Ottoman Sultans. You will find there collections of silver, crystals, Chinese porcelain, the Holly Mantle, popular jewels worn by the Imperial Treasury and also robes that were worn by the sultans and their families.

When you leave the square the next place, we will be taking you is to Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, which was formerly called the Church of Divine Wisdom. Here you will admire the unique Byzantine Architecture used to build Hagia Sophina and also learn about the church which has been standing for over 1000 years. Hagia Sophia was at one time the largest church in the world, and the inside of it is decorated with beautiful golden mosaics from the 6th century. The church changed into a museum and today it serves as a mosque but visitors are allowed to explore its inside.

We will break for lunch at 13:00 hours and after lunch we will continue with the tour to the Grand Spice Bazaar, which is a market for spices with a wide variety of spices and at an affordable price. You can buy exotic spices and herbs, and sample the Turkish Baklava and Turkish delicacies, Turkish coffee, tea, nuts and fruits and also buy souvenirs like ceramic handicrafts and Evil Eyes totems. Other things you will find in the market include all-natural olive oil, soaps and many other stores and shops. When we finish the tour, we will take you back to the hotel in Istanbul for an overnight stay.

Keep Note: The Topkapi Pace is usually closed on Tuesdays so if your tour is ona Tuesday we will take you to visit the Underground Cistern instead of the Palace as it will be closed.

After you have breakfast in your hotel, we will take you to the departure point of Marmara Sea where you will board a cruise to Istanbul’s renowned Princes’ Islands. As you cruise through these peaceful waters you will views the Topkapi Palace, Leander’s Tower and also Uskudar from a different perspective. We will take you to Buyukada, one of the Princes’ Islands which is a popular summer resort. The island is loved for its sandy beaches and the pine trees scattered everywhere and it offers a magical ambience perfect for relaxing. You can also engage in water sporting activities at the island such as skiing, fishing and swimming.

Horse carriages are prohibited in this island so we will offer you an electric car to give you a tour of the island. During lunch hour, you will enjoy lunch at a restaurant by the sea and then relax as you take in the beautiful sceneries. After the tour ends, you will get on a cruise back to the mainland and then we will take you back to your hotel in Istanbul.

Our representative will come to pick you up at 8:30 am after you have breakfast and take you to the boarding point of the Bosphorus cruise. This cruise takes you through the Bosphorus strait which separates Europe and Asia and, on your way, you will see ancient wooden villas made with the ottoman architecture standing beside modern residential and lavish apartments. You will also see marble palaces and can take photos with the background of these architectural wonders.

You will see the exterior of the Rumeli Fortress from your boat because you will not be allowed to enter the fortress which was built the military style by the conqueror to control and protect the Bosporus people in the old days. enjoy your lunch at around 13:00 hours and then later after the tour we will take you to Istanbul airport for a local flight to Kayseri. Arrive in Kayseri and our guide will take you to your hotel in Cappadocia where you will have your dinner and a restful night.

Wake up early in the morning and enjoy your breakfast before our driver comes to pick you up at around 8:00 am to 9:30 am. The exact time for pickup will be communicated to you a day before the tour for you to be ready by then. The driver will take you to Ozkonak Underground cities in Cappadocia and then you will go to Uchisar which is the highest point in Cappadocia.

When done we will take you to the Goreme Open Air Museum where there are fresco paintings from the 10th century that showcase the life of Jesus Christ and the Monks. After touring the museum, we will go to Cavusin, an abandoned village with a old cave Greek Houses and then later have your lunch at a restaurant in Avanos. After lunch we will take you to a pottery work shop where you will witness as potteries are being made and then head to the Love Valley. This hidden valley in Cappadocia has many scenic rock formations that are natural and not carved by man.

In the afternoon we will also take you to another workshop where you will see the making of woven carpets and kilims. Later on, you will go to Devrent Valley which also has natural rock formations that resemble animals. In the evening the representative will take you for a wine tasting tour in a wine shop in Urgup and then end the day by visiting the three stunning fairy tale chimneys with their hats. The three are the symbols of Cappadocia and after the eventful day you will be taken back to your hotel in Cappadocia where you will rest for the night.

The day begins with a tasty breakfast before checking out of the hotel. Our guide will then take you back to Kayseri Airport for a flight to Istanbul where you will board your flight to back home. At this point the tour will come to and end and it is our hope that you will have enjoyed every moment of the tour and made lifetime memories.
