Once you land at the Paro International Airport you will meet the local Bhutanese guide who will warmly welcome you to beautiful Bhutan and then guide you to your private airport transfer. Next take a drive to Thimphu which will approximately take 1.5 hours.During the Thimphu city tour you will be able to visit various locations such as Tamchog Lhakhang, a temple built by legendary bridge builder Thangtong Gyalpo and finally an ancient iron chain suspension bridge to reach the temple. On day 3, take a drive to Punakha which will approximately take 3 hours and we will most probably stop at the pass to admire 108 chortens and Himalayan views depending on the weather condition. During this tour you will be visiting various locations such as the Chimi Lhakhang, Punakha Dzong,etc.
On day 4, take a drive to Paro along with a stop for lunch and some local village visits. After all the visitings check in to your hotel in Paro. Next visit Ta Dzong which is the National Museum that is housed in a former watchtower and finally don’t forget to check out the Rinpung Dzong which is a 17th century Buddhist Monastery.
On day 5, have an early breakfast at the hotel before beginning the hike to Taktsang Monastery which is also known as the Tiger’s Nest. The hike will take about 2 or 3 hours to get to the tiger’s nest.
On day 6, take a morning drive to Chele La Pass which is the highest motorable road in Bhutan at 3,988 meters. Next visit Mount Jomolhari and the Haa Valley and enjoy the rest of the day.
On day 7, which is your final day in Bhutan. After breakfast check out from the hotel and your airport transfer will pick you up from the hotel and drop you off at the Paro International Airport in time for you to board the return flight to Dubai.
