The adventure begins immediately you arrive at Tbilisi International Airport where you will be greeted and taken on a tour by our tour manager. From the airport the team will help you transfer from the airport to the hotel for check in and rest. Once you have rested and taken lunch you will begin by a brief city tour. You will begin the adventure by walking across the contemporary peace bridge and Love Rock bridge. You will also see the secret waterfall in the old city, Tbilisi Sea, Freedom square and Rike park.
Once you have taken your breakfast you will proceed with the day’s adventures. You will spend the whole day touring the region of Gudauri and Kazbegi. Generally, Georgia is beautiful country with stunning landscapes and during this day’s tour you will have several stop overs for some scenic views along the way. Some of the popular stops include the Pasanuri River Junction and the Majestic Anauri Castle.
Once you get to Gudauri, you can enjoy a thrilling cable car ride if it is available and enjoy the scenic view of the area from above and later break for lunch. After the break you will proceed to the Georgia-Russia Friendship monument and later explore the Kazbegi area. This exploration will also involve a 4X4 offroad trip to the famous Gergeti church and the stunning Gergeti Trinity church. Later in the evening you will take a ride back to Tbilisi and spend the night in the hotel.
Then you will proceed on a full day trip to the Kakheti region. Some of the day activities include a visit at the wine factory and vineyard. You will learn about the process of producing wines right from the beginning to the end and you will also get a chance to sample local wines. Later you will head to the famous Bodbe burial place of St Nino which is an important religious site in Georgia. You will also visit Sighnaghi which is popularly known as ‘city of love’ where you will spend the rest of the day exploring the calm and romantic atmosphere. You will then spend the night at the hotel.
Once you have taken breakfasts you will proceed on a tour to explore the old city of Sketa. There are many churches and monasteries on the way to Sketa and you can visit some of these important religious sites. You will visit Gori which is the birthplace of Joseph Stalin and also visit the Stalin Museum. To get some glimpse of the history of Georgia you can explore the mysterious Uplisike cave settlement. You will then spend the night at the hotel.
This is the last day in Georgia and you will begin by taking breakfast and later checking out of the hotel. Our Arooha Tours team will transfer you to the airport to catch a flight back home. The holiday will come to and end but the memories of Georgia holiday tour will be lifetime.
