01 Do Dubai Residents Need a Visa for Turkey?

Individuals with an ordinary UAE passport must get an electronic visa when traveling to Turkey for business or tourism. You can apply for a three-month multiple-entry Turkey visa, which acts as both a business and tourist visa.

Travelers with an official UAE passport do not need to apply for a Turkey visa when traveling there for up to 90 days. There may be visa-free travel opportunities for UAE citizens with certain nations' passports.

02 What Are The Types Of Turkey Visas

Below are the types of visas for Turkey:

• Turkey Tourist Visa – This document is issued to foreigners traveling to Turkey for tourism or to visit friends or relatives.

03Turkey Visa Requirements from Dubai

Below are the required documents to apply for a Turkey visa from Dubai:

• Your original passport is valid for at least 6 months from the prospective arrival date, and with at least two blank pages.
• 2-passport-sized photographs, with a white background and shot within the last 6 months.
• A valid UAE residence permit valid for at least six months and a photocopy of the permit, your visa, and the Emirates ID.
• Travel documentation, such as round-trip flight tickets. Do not confirm the ticket before you are granted the visa, as there may be delays.
• Proof of accommodation, like a hotel reservation. Do not confirm the reservation before having the visa.
• If you have been invited to Turkey, provide the reason for the invitation, the duration of your stay, and the sponsor's commitment that you will return to your country. The sponsor should also provide their contact details and a copy of their ID.
• An invitation letter with the inviting person's TR Identity Number, clear identity, list of invitees, permanent address, contact number, duration and reason for stay, and the relation with the applicant
• A travel health insurance valid for the duration you are staying in Turkey of a copy of the insurance card and policy certificate showing the coverage area in Turkey
• Proof of employment, like an original letter from the company, and if the applicant is the company owner, they should provide a letter on the company letterhead stating the exact reason for travel, the company's trade license, and the bank statements for the last three months. If retired, an applicant should provide the original retirement documents and proof of the last pension amount received.
• Additional documents, such as old travel documents, if you have been to Turkey before. You should also provide any current or previously issued Schengen, USA, or UK visas.

04 What Are The Photo Requirements

The two passport-sized photos must meet these standards:

• Size of 5x6cm and a white background
• should not be older than six months
• The photo must be clean and sharp in focus
• You should be staring straight at the camera
• You should not have headgear, hat/cap, or spectacles

05 What Are the Requirements for Minors?

Minors applying for a Turkey visa should provide the following additional documents:

• A notarized letter of consent with both parent's signatures, passport, and residence visa copy
• one parent accompanies the minor, they must present a consent letter from the absent parent and a copy of their UAE residence visa and passport.
• If the visa application is independent, the consent letter should be presented with copies of the UAE residence visa and passport.

06 How to Apply for the Turkey Visa from Dubai

Visa processing takes 3 to 7 days, depending on each case and the traffic of applications. You will then receive the approved e-visa to allow you entry to Turkey.

07 What is the Visa Fee?

The Turkey visa application fee from Dubai is USD 60, which is around AED 220. The visa fee cannot be refunded regardless of whether the application gets rejected.

08 What is the Turkey Visa Validity?

The Turkey visa from Dubai is valid for a total of 180 days. On one trip, you are allowed to stay in the country for up to 90 days. Be careful not to overstay your visa, as you risk penalties, detainment, and deportation.
