Nestled on the southern outskirts of Kalba Village on the eastern coast of Sharjah is the Al Qurm Mangrove, a place to enjoy two of the most popular adventure water activities while absorbing the stunning beauty. The Kayaking and Paddleboarding tour in Kalba allows you to explore the pleasant waters of Sharjah as you kayak or paddle board. Spanning an extensive 500 hectares, the network of magnificent mangroves are thriving with aquatic and avian wildlife. The first activity you will take part in is Stand-up paddle boarding. Your skilled instructor will teach you the basics of this activity before letting you try it alone. Next, you will try kayaking in the Kalba mangrove waters.While kayaking individuals can spot endangered birds like the Arabian-collared kingfisher and more common species like hawksbill and green turtles. If you are an enthusiastic birdwatcher then definitely bring along a pair of binoculars to spot the different varieties of birds that inhabit the mangroves. Relax in the serene atmosphere and feel at peace with nature.

Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled check-in time. Check-in to Al Qurm reserve for morning visits are at approximately 9.15 am and afternoon visits at 2.30 pm. You can also arrange a transfer with us for an additional charge. If you have booked a transfer with us you will be taken to the reserve from your hotel.
Your tour begins with a briefing and demonstration on the basics of Stand-Up Paddle Boarding before letting you try on your own. After approximately 30 minutes of Paddle boarding you will experience kayaking in the Mangrove reserve waters.
Check out from the reserve will be at approximately 12.00 pm for morning session and 5.30 pm for evening sessions. If you have booked a transfer with us, you will be dropped back to your hotel.
