Read on to find out more about the 6 hour adventure.Once you have arrived at Dubai International Airport you can catch a free transfer in the bus shuttle to the Dubai International Airport Premier hotel inn. This is only available from Terminal 1 and terminal 3. Your driver guide for the day will pick you up from the hotel lobby and transport you to the spice Souk. Walk through mounts of fragrant herbs, spices, dried flowers and the musky smell of frankincense. Enjoy the traditional atmosphere and definitely grab a few photos of the colour coordinated heaps of spices. Adjacent to the spice Souk is the Gold Souk, a labyrinth of walkways housing shops that sell gold of every weight and design. You can see some of the world’s largest gold jewellery displayed on the shop windows.Next, ride a water taxi locally known as an abra across the picturesque Deira creek to get to the Textile Souk. Situated in Bur Dubai, the souk has everything from raw silk to embroidered fabrics, sequins and slippers of all colours and types.
For some history we will stop at Dubai’s oldest building, the Al Fahidi Fort. It houses the Dubai Museum which has many exhibits about ancient Emirati life and many artefacts that have been excavated over time. Acknowledge the modern side of Dubai by visiting the tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa. If you aren’t stunned enough by its ravishing architecture, you will be blown away by the musicaly synchronised water dance at the Dubai fountain which is situated at the base of Burj Khalifa. Last but not the least, you can’t leave the host city of the world’s largest shopping festival without doing some shopping in the famous Dubai mall, can you? If you are not a shopaholic, get friendly with the fish at the Dubai Aquarium inside Dubai mall. Your driver will drop you back at your hotel lobby once you have enjoyed in the mall.Now wasn’t this 6 hours in Dubai an exciting experience. If you have landed at terminal 1 or 3 of Dubai International Airport, you can catch the free bus shuttle that goes to Dubai International Airport Premier Inn hotel starts. After you have checked in and freshened up your driver will pick you up from the Premier Inn hotel lobby.
Spend the next 1 hour or so browsing the many spice stalls before heading to the gold souk and admiring all that glitters
After a 20 minute long abra ride you can hop off at the textile souk and buy some good material ranging from silk to cotton.
The al fahidi fort, the oldest building in Dubai that still exists is where the Dubai Museum is housed. Cruise through the many exhibits to learn about Dubai’s history.
Spend the next 90 minutes or so exploring burj khalifa and its gardens until its time for the dancing show of the Dubai fountain.
Shop at any of the boutiques or visit the many aquatic creatures at the Dubai museum.
