The Sharjah fat bike tour allows cycling enthusiasts to explore the Sharjah desert with their favourite way of moving around by replacing a normal bike with a fat bike. Follow the lead of your instructor and explore the Mleiha desert territory and its wild inhabitants. Begin your tour with a guided visit to Mleiha Archaeological Centre. Observe exhibits of various excavations, tombs that date back to the bronze age and a good explanation on the various settlers that called the Sharjah desert their home. Leave the confines of the eco-friendly centre and head out to the desert to begin your fat bike experience. Board a fat bike - an off road bicycle with thick tires designed to travel over soft sand- and follow your skilled instructor into the desert. Explore numerous historical and archaeological sites which will improve your knowledge about the desert excavations. Enjoy riding over the bumpy sand dunes of Sharjah desert and feel a thrill similar to that of dune riding. This tour also gives you the chance to observe the magnificent wildlife. Pedal across the dunes and keep an eye for wildlife like camels, birds and various types of reptiles. Arrive at the Mleiha Archaeological Center at the specified time. You will meet up with your guide at the entrance to the centre. Transfers to the centre can be booked on request for an additional cost. If you book a transfer, the chauffeur guide will pick you up from your hotel.
Your Sharjah fat bike tour begins with a guided visit to Mleiha Archaeological center. This will be followed by a Fat bike drive drive where you get to choose if you want the Archaeological beginner tour (60 minutes), the Landscapes fitness tour (90 minutes) or the Safari endurance tour (120 minutes). You will be accompanied by a skilled instructor as you ride over the desert dunes. You will also be given the chance to observe the desert wildlife.
Make your way back to your hotel. If you have booked a transfer with us you will be dropped off by our chauffeur.
